Painted for the Street of Dreams, I wanted to experiment with my color palette and composition, and carry the nature theme I was going with in my other abstracts for the house. As I was painting, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the veining in stone. After a little research, I discovered that rose quartz (a color I was seeing here) is believed to enhance spiritual growth and wisdom, and there is also a stone called “lavender agate “ that “encourages quiet introspection and contemplation, providing a soothing, supportive energy for spiritual growth and confidence.” It all felt feminine and strong, creative and cathartic.
